Two photographs that Richter captured in 1968 during a journey to Milan out of an airplane window were mounted in such a way that the upper motive is turned by 180 degrees fand they both formed a new motive. This picture was used as a contribution to a portfolio that included pieces of all the former lecturers of the Academy of Fine Arts in Hamburg in 1970.
