• His wife Siddi is a key motif in his creation: he depicted her unobserved, reading, sleeping or writing with an intimate look
• Characteristic example of Heckel's style with pointed angles and complex spatial structures.

In good condition. Edges slightly< creased and with faint isolated handling marks. Tiny split in both the upper left edge and in the middle of the upper edge. Isolated, unobtrusive (color) adhesions.
