• In 1965, a figure appeared in Baselitz's graphic oeuvre that could probably be the romantic Dresden painter Ludwig Richter, to whom the artist draws parallels in his work.
• The Centre Pompidou in Paris dedicated a comprehensive retrospective to Georg Baselitz in 2021/22
