Contemp. handbound maroon morocco binding and top edge gilt, and a single gilt fillet border on both boards, double inside gilt fillet borders and light-green silk endpapers. 4to.

Il est illustré de très belles eaux-fortes en couleurs et de nombreuses vignettes gravées sur bois" (Talvart/Place).
Personal copy for Lionel de Tastes and at the same time one of the copies including an etched menu at the end, containing a three-line autographed dedication signed by G. Daragnès for Monsieur de Tastes. Also with a signed watercolour by the artist, bound in as frontispiece (preliminary drawing for a print). - Joints minimally rubbed, else fine copy.
Rare luxury printing. 1 signed orig.-watercolour, 14 orig.-etchings in colour and 83 woodcuts in the text, all by G. Daragnès. Darkred full marocco with top edge gilt and green silk-endpapers. - 1 of 180 numb. copies, signed by the artist, incl. a second series of all etchings. Personal copy for Lionel de Tastes, with orig. watercolour and dedication by the artist. Well preserved.
