Monogrammed "I.A." (Ioan Andrea) in printing block. Partly slightly grayish impression on wove paper, verso with Latin text. Trimmed to bordering line and laminated on wove paper. 26,6 x 18,7 cm (10,4 x 7,3 in), the full sheet.
Inverted motif after teh model by Albrecht Dürer (sheet 10 from the series of the 'Apokalypse des Johannes' from 1511, cf. Bartsch 72). [CB].

PROVENANCE: British Museum, London (doublette), verso with the stamps Lugt 302 (with numbers "1870/10/8/2040") as well as Lugt 305, with monogram stamp of Campbell Dodgson, London (cf. Lugt 521bis).
