According to Grützke's work book, the seated person lifting up her green skirt and looking between her legs is Beatrice Magdon, a Mies van der Rohe cantilever chair stands in front of her. Beatrice Magdon was the last model Grützke had before his death. She is depicted on many of his pictures, among them in "Bathseba" a cycle of 20 works. [FS].
