Bright and expressive landscape of Nidda. The pictorially executed watercolor delivers impressive proof of Pechstein's deeply felt love for the small coastal town of Nidda which Pechstein described as his "Painters Paradise" in retrospect (quote after Soika, Max Pechstein, 2011, p. 31).
