Krüger L 91. Signed, dated "Nidden 09" and numbered "2.". Titled on the backing. According to Krüger, it can be assumed that Pechstein made a maximum of 10 copies in his early creative period. On light paper, originally mounted on a backing paper in the upper corners. 35 x 47.5 cm (13.7 x 18.7 in). Backing paper: 42 x 53 cm (16,5 x 20,9 in).
Once a week, the "only old steamer 'Kondor'" landed on the pier in Nida. [JS].
• From the "Brücke" heyday.
• Fine document from Pechstein's first stay in Nida, his "painter's paradise", which he reached after a long and adventurous journey.
• As part of the acclaimed "Brücke" collection of Hermann Gerlinger shown in many exhibitions.
• Very rare. This is the first time that a copy of this lithograph is offered on the international auction market (source: artprice.com).
