• The drawing was presumably made in connection with the painting "Soldat und Mädchen zwischen bunten Vorhängen" (1916, Gordon 459).

Fine overall impression. Edges slightly irregularly trimmed by the artist. With mainly diagonal wrinkles, particularly in margins and in lower part like both bottom corners. With an unobtrusive diagonal creasing in center.
