Krüger H 293. Signed and numbered. From an edition of 51 copies. On firm wove paper, laid on cardboard. 49.5 x 40 cm (19.4 x 15.7 in). Backing: 60 x 50 cm (23,6 x 19,7 in).
The colors were presumably applied onto the wooden block by means of a brush, which explains why Krüger mentions the differences in print. Released by Euphorion Verlag. [SM].

• In 1923, Max Pechstein spent the months of May and June in Switzerland.
• The sheet ""Rauchender Schweizer" (Smoking Swiss) is characterized by a varied surface design and virtuoso lines.
• Some of the colors were applied with a brush, so that each copy shows minor variations
