With a fragmentarily preserved letter on the reverse, just partly legible. [AR].
• Fine small watercolor that served the artist as a greeting card.
• As of 1929 Jawlensky increasingly suffered from arthritis and soon painted in severe pain.
• Around this time he repeatedly made small watercolors, among them of flowers in vases.

In good condition. Margins slightly irregular and with two small splits and a tiny brownish spot. With isolated remains of a different type of paper/newsprint, especially in upper left and along the bottom edge.
