With another pencil drawing "Weiblicher Akt sitzend“ on the reverse. The work is registered in the Hermann Gerlinger Collection with the number 752 a.

• The work shows Gewecke, a student at "MUIM“ (Moderner Unterricht in Malerei), a drawing school that E. L. Kirchner and Max Pechstein founded in Berlin in 1911.

Good overall impression. Paper with marginal handling marks and creases, as well as minimally unevenly discolored and with a few stains. Paper slightly skinned in edges, partly restored, and with a few small expertly restored splits. With old mounting residue on the reverse, minimally pushing through to recto. Lower left corner mended.
