• Trained in typography at the Städelschule in Frankfurt, Rolf Cavael dedicated his art to non-representationalism from the beginning.
• Cavael received recognition from artists such as Willi Baumeister, Rupprecht Geiger and others around "ZEN 49", with whom he exhibited in Munich in 1949.
